ATHLETICS DAY

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (SRC)

As the year comes to a close, I would like to take this chance to thank elected SRC members as well as the volunteers who have made this year’s efforts a success.

The SRC have worked hard to raise the $621 for the ‘Care for a Carer’. Thus far, we have raised over $500 so we have a small amount to go. At the end of last term, we had a Footy Colours’ Day where children came to school dressed in the colour of their favorite sporting team. Thank you for your support.

To complete this fundraising effort we’ve still got a Dress Up Day and a Lucky Dip.

Occupations’ Day:

When: November 1st, 2019
Cost: Gold Coin Donation

This is when your child comes to school dressed in what they would like to be when they are older i.e. doctor, nurse, builder, farmer etc. For the privilege of dressing up, students need to bring along a gold coin donation.

Lucky Dip:

Our Grade 5 Representatives will be running the Lucky Dip at Recess each day. The cost is $1.00.

Salvation Army:

We are still collecting items (clothes, blankets, unopened food, toys, furniture) for the Salvation Army so they can support the less fortunate in our community. Please bring your donations to school and give to Ms. Height or speak to Ozlem in the front office.
